Patriots of the United States Revolution  Magic Cards

Hand a card to a student that has 16 name on it,8 on each side of the card.  Each name represents a Patriot of the United States Revolution.  Have the student select one of the names without telling you who they selected.  Then show them 3 cards,1 at a tome,  and ask them if they see the name of their patriot on it.  After they answer yes or no for each card, collect the cards and announce the name of the patriot they selected.  Easy to do. Self working.

The effect can be repeated immediately.  This is a nice way to introduce 16 people who are some of the most famous Patriots of the United States Revolution.  A short biography of each patriot is included

This effect works using base 2 cards.   A great way to introduce a base 2 application.
